Suhaimi Yusof is best known for his breakout role in the hit satirical comedy series The Noose, where he starred as Jojo Joget. His performance earned him the Best Comedy Performance award at the 2011 Asian Television Awards, and the show itself received a nomination in the comedy category at the International Emmy Awards the same year, cementing his status as one of Singapore’s most beloved comedic talents.
He began his career as a radio broadcaster in 1990 with WARNA 94.2FM and quickly became a versatile and bilingual personality, sought after for hosting corporate events and performing 20-minute stand-up comedy routines for private engagements. He has also been a consecutive host for the Singapore National Day Parade for four years. Beyond comedy, Suhaimi has demonstrated his acting range in Channel 8 productions such as Life Less Ordinary and Say Cheese, and appeared in local films including The Diam Diam Era (2020) and Wa for Wayang (2014). Behind the camera, he has flourished as a director, writer, and producer for numerous VCD/DVD productions, receiving the “Best 100% Singapore Production” award from Life Records (Singapore & Malaysia).
