Best known for her award-winning role in Mediacorp Channel 5’s Rojak, which earned her the coveted Best Comedy Performance by an Actor/Actress at the 21st Asian Television Awards, Carla has established herself as one of Singapore’s most versatile performers.

Born in Essen, Germany to a Romanian father and Chinese mother, Carla moved to Singapore at the age of 8. She began her professional acting career at 11 with the short film Gourmet Baby, which opened at the New York Film Festivals. She later graduated with an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Acting from LaSalle College of the Arts.

As a child actress, she appeared in award-winning shorts such as Autograph Book which walked away with the Best Short Film title at the 2000 Silver Screen Awards in Singapore. She gained international recognition through The Kitchen Musical, Asia’s first musical TV series, and furthered her career in the Philippines with stage productions like Boeing Boeing and Grease. Carla has hosted major events including the 28th SEA Games and Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix Stage, in addition to appearing in HBO Asia’s first original comedy, SeNT.

Carla combines extensive on-screen and stage experience, and international exposure, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Her versatility and professionalism allow her to excel across stage, screen, and hosting engagements, making her a standout choice for any project.
