Bunz is best known for his role as Xiao Wang Zi in Jack Neo’s feature films The Lion Men and The Lion Men: Ultimate Showdown, which introduced him to a wide audience and showcased his versatility as a performer on the big screen.

Originally from China, Bunz moved to Singapore at the age of 13 and quickly adapted to his new environment. He holds a Diploma in Music and Audio Technology from Singapore Polytechnic and a degree in Communication and New Media from NUS.

He won Group Champion at the Singapore POP Culture Dance Competition, and played the male lead in the President Challenge musical Superstar Musical at the Istana. He starred in StarHub Go Local’s telemovie Kidnapped as his first dramatic lead as well as Toggle’s The Driver. Beyond acting, Bunz channels his creativity into music and production, having founded Sentang - a production company, while also sharing original music covers that have garnered over 2 million views online. He also regularly appears on talk shows like Sip & Tell! (VIU) and in series' such as CAMOKAKIS: Whole Lot Fall In (Channel 5).
